What is the problem to be solved?

I decided to pursue this project in an effort to help freelance teachers who teach English in Japan better manage their teaching schedules and expand their English teaching experience.
I felt this was a need with the Corona pandemic having disrupted the world and left teachers clutching for alternative means of work.
It is easy to set up, gives flexibility to teachers who can manage their life around a schedule they desire
as well as track income coming into their respective households.
Most importantly, it’s all online, so there is very little preparation that needs to be done in order to start working immediately.
Another obstacle I have come across, is the need to grow and expand ones skillsets in teaching English.
While there are other schools that specialize in such areas, most tend to be expensive and require full-time or part-time attendance in order to require qualifications.
My short term but effective solution is to allow consistent & incentivised peer to peer / client to peer reviews and evaluations so that there is a community space where new and more experienced teachers can express their concerns and share their knowledge.
I feel this can be done by online observation of lessons as well as an enhanced resources area where teachers can upload their own content and videos for teaching techniques, homework ideas, worksheet resources etc.
Colearn will reshape the way in which English can be taught. It will be a community space where ideas of teaching can be challenged, reworked, strategized and centered towards the client, as well as the teacher.

Initial ideas / sketches

To begin, I started by drawing any ideas and images that came to mind for this platform.
In no particular order, this process was designed to simply imagine and note down ideas.
